Traditional Art / Paintings / Still Life

Done today in my art class. I'm not 100% satisfied with it because my teacher was annoying me to get it done, (I only had the branch at the time) cause she claimed it was gonna be due at the end of class. So I didn't get to put some darker hues of black into it. Only for it to be the end of class...and she not even take them cause she didn't have time. >.< GRRRRR!!!!! Maybe before class I can get some of those darker shades of black in on thursday. I'd also like to correct a few things on it as well.

I propped the picture up so I could take a photo of it, and it started to fall inward. xD

Was painted using india ink

Having had a look through your galleries kept coming back to this one. Your talent is quite obvious and it is a great pity that your teacher pressured you to hurry, (by the way even when young you have the right to say no!), as even she must have seen the potential. You are quite right, although, I am not an artist, I can see the finishing touches need to be done. Of all your art work I found your traditional art the most appealing and wonder if this is your forte"? These more traditional pieces seem to convey more feeling, as if as an artist you are maybe enjoying this art more?

I'm glad you enjoyed this piece. Yes I do enjoy traditional art as well as others. And unfortunately I was not able to say no about having to hurry as everyone had to have it done in the same time period for it to be fair (we all only had maybe 2 hours to do it in). Even so I think for something done in a short amount of time, it's a rather enjoyable piece. I can't wait to get it back and do the finishing touches though. My teacher still has it so I have not been able to complete it.

I don't know if this is my forte, as I still consider myself as someone who is learning, but I greatly appreciate your comments and input. =3

Also thank you for sharing your works, I enjoy them and hope to see more of them as well.

Thanks Ju. But i'd still like to fix somethings on it if I get the chance before class tomorrow. If I manage to do this i'll upload the difference later on =3. *crosses fingers* Here's hoping I get the chance to do so. I don't wanna do much, just a few things here and there and add some darker hues of black. =3

Thank you, but I don't think I did a very good job honestly =< I feel like my teacher rushed us too much because she took too much time to explain stuff (in reality she was having fun messing with the ink on her "example".) LOL.
